Pencilled Plant Progression
A pencil drawing of the evolution of a bouquet, starting out as slightly bloomed buds on the right and ending as dying flowers towards the left.
This was actually a sketch of my Intro to Drawing final. The point of the final was to demonstrate evolution or change, so I chose to draw mine based on a bouquet of carnations my roommate purchased to liven up our room. I chose to showcase my third pass instead of my final because my professor continued to give me vague and conflicting advice on how to "improve" my drawing. Along with my lack of sleep and burnout, my final came out looking worse than my preliminary sketches. The form of this drawing is mostly scribbles instead of straight, defined lines.
